It was just a fine choice for exploring town in Sparta with very good value for money. The bathroom was filthy, but at least the bed sheets were clean. Make sure to check the towels before using them.

This place has its moments, like a decent TV and some nice toilet paper, but the cleanliness is seriously lacking with dust and grime everywhere. The heating situation was alarming, and I wish I had stayed somewhere more comfortable for the price. A definite need for major improvements here.

stay if you're desperate; beautiful flat-screen tv but filthy sheets and moldy walls
A flat-screen TV provided the only highlight.

We stayed for 3 nights, and while it was definitely a rough experience, the TV was surprisingly decent, and I appreciated having the room for eclipse viewing. However, it was quite dirty and didn't match the online photos at all. I'd never go back again.

The biggest highlight of our stay was its location during the eclipse. it offered fantastic viewing opportunities. Additionally, the room had spacious layouts for our family with children, allowing us to spread out comfortably.
The noise levels were quite disruptive at times.

missingWrote a review on Sept 25locationclean sheetsdirty bathroommoldy smellhygiene concerns
The location was the only redeeming feature, being in the path of totality for the eclipse. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was appalling. the bathroom was filthy, the shower had not been cleaned in ages, and the room carried an unpleasant smell of mold. While the bed sheets seemed clean, the towels raised concerns about hygiene.

missingWrote a review on Aug 31leaking refrigerator
Unfortunately, we faced serious problems during our visit. Discovering bed bugs in the first room was a major shock. After switching rooms, we found the new one had a leaking refrigerator that created a continuously wet floor. The hot water in the shower barely reached tepid temperatures, which is disappointing for a proper refresh. Additionally, the bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired. the toilet seat needed attention and the shower appeared neglected. The overall musty smell in the room was quite off-putting.
